Susan Larkin- Acting & Voice Coach

Susan Larkin is excited to be bringing acting coaching and acting for singers to Performance Plus and RVP studios, with a specialty in audition technique, a special skill actors/singers need in order to succeed in this business. Susan is available for individual acting and vocal coaching and also will be offering group acting classes.

Susan was an adjunct professor at Naugatuck Community College for their Kids on Campus summer program teaching acting. She has also taught acting classes at the Amity Teen Center.

Susan attended UCLA and has a BA in Theater Arts. She pursued an acting career in L.A. for ten years before moving to CT with her husband. She studied voice with Grammy Award winning composer/conductor Lucas Richman, and locally with Paul Elkin.  She is a SAG performer who has performed in television, commercials, and theater from Shakespeare to Gilbert and Sullivan. Most notable roles are Ophelia in “Hamlet”, Sandy in “Grease”, Connie in “1940’s Radio Hour”, Iolanthe, in “Iolanthe”, and Meg in “Crimes of the Heart”.

Locally she has performed in productions with Theatermania: April in “Company” and Trixie in “Trixie True Teen Detective”, and New England Actors Theater: Prudence in “Beyond Therapy”.

Susan also has her MBA and is one of the principle owners of RVP-Performance Plus studios.
