Drumming since the age of nine, Greg is an accomplished & diverse player. Greg has performed in school jazz, concert bands and the All Eastern UCONN Symphony Orchestra. After graduating from Lyman Memorial High School in Lebanon, CT – Greg left for NYC.

Greg ‘hit the skins’ in NYC teaching, gigging, recording, and touring! Greg taught drums at Ultra Sound Studios while working with his original band Furious Styles. Pete Townshend’s brother Simon Townshend produced the record while Kamal from the Jerky Boys managed the band. Furious Styles toured with the Spin Doctors, Maceo Parker, Blues Traveler & other artists. While touring, Greg made tons of connections and his talent on the drums opened the door to many opportunities.

Greg broke into the session scene in LA & NY. Greg worked with Tommy Lee, Tony Harnel of TNT, Al Pitrelli of Widowmaker & Asia, Mike Viscera from Obsession, Roger Filgate from Wishbone Ash, Danny Meranda of Blue Oyster Cult, Paul Chapin-President of CT Songwriters Association, Roy Michaels of Pioneers (w/ John Entwisel from the Who), Chuck Beckman, Producer Jeff Cannatta and a multitude of other artists from Ct.

Greg’s commercial work & Jingles include: Heineken, Corona, Whiskers Cat Food, Acclaim Video Games. Greg moved to CT in the mid-90’s and is co-owner of RVP Studios with his wife & artist Rosie Coppola Trabandt where he inspires and teaches drums to over 100 students per week. Greg also consults, writes, produces, does session work, clinics, ‘rock camp’ & manages the rehearsal rooms for bands & artists. Greg is always on the move doin’ what he does best…’hittin’ the skins!’
